The Many Faces of Colby Jay

Halloween was a blast!

For Halloween we went to the church for the annual "Trunk-or-Treat." Hannah's cousins came down for the event! It was a lot of fun! (Tatum and Hannah are two peas in a pod when they are together. I love to listen to their little conversations.) This year Hannah understood she needed to say "Trick-or-Treat!" She's growing up way too fast! Hannah was Jasmine, an old costume my youngest sister wore actually, and Colby was a pumpkin! Thanks Aunt Jackie for the pumpkin costume!

Treasures

Mom's Little Teasures
I have a really good friend who calls her children her "little treasures." I adopted the saying too because it is so true! There is nothing more priceless in life than our families. I am so thankful to stay at home at this point in life and enjoy special growing moments with my little treasures!

Hannah is a great big sister!

Halloween is going to be fun this year with two! Hannah cannot wait for her cousins to come and go trick-or-treating with her! She's going to be Jasmin from Aladdin!

Our afternoon at the beach!

Random Sampler

Here are a few random picts of the kids...
Daddy with his boy! Colby was one month old in this picture. Now he's a chub! Amazing how much they change in one month!

Hannah is excited for Halloween!

Sleepy

Well, I have quickly recalled the arduous, waking nights with a newborn. I know we all do it as mothers and get through it, but man, did I forget how tiring it can be. I have to say that I feel like I am a little bit of a wimp. I have Jay and my mother-in-law around to help out and I still am tired. They both have been wonderful help! (Not to mention the two weeks my mom, dad, and sisters were here to help and let me nap twice a day!) Thanks so much everybody! There is no greater gift, for a new mother, than a nap!

Colby is a good baby and only gets up twice a night. He's generally happy and calm. Thank goodness! :) I dream of the night when I wake up and the clock reads 7:00 instead of 1:00am. Until then, I will push on and think of all the inspirational mothers out there who have done it too! :) Wish me sleep and sweet dreams!
